Child's Play season tickets
That my dear friend, Kathy,
Gifted us with last month.
It was amazing.
Rock the Presidents.
It did rock.

Miss M squealed
Clapped
Laughed
And raised her hand about 20 times at the end to answer a question or ask a question.
She was never picked
But she walked up and met each of the actors afterwards
And all she could talk about is when we go back to the next show in December.
Junie B Jones Christmas show.
She also LOVED the water feature
And Tempe Town Lakes outside
Tempe Center for the Arts.
Tempe Center for the Arts.
She kept calling the "lake" the ocean.
Poor desert kid.

Then this afternoon we also unpacked our two deliveries from Target.
I used the generous Target gift card from my dear Paloma family
And invested in an actual vacuum
Well, two.
The little one is for little messes and for the tile floors
The big one is for the carpet.
I've lived out here for going on 9 years
But I never invested in a quality dust sucker.
Until now.
Wow.
What a difference a good one makes!
We will think of our Paloma family every weekend!
Miss M calls the yellow one hers
And the purple one mine.
Works out good for both of us.
Praise Reports:
*Miss M waited and saved her money to purchase something "bigger" last week. Now this week she was extra blessed with $3 in the mail at different times from my mom - which got her to her saving goal a week earlier than planned...but then on top of that another box of goodies arrived in the mail yesterday and included a new Barbie dolls and some gorgeous, fancy Barbie clothes, along with some other lovely girly things. These were two of the things she was saving up for (as my mom knew!) and now she is talking about saving for a little longer for something else that she can then take with her when she goes back to be with her mom. Love this.
Prayer Requests:
I have put in a request for respite care for Miss M for the last two Sundays of this month. I have to work for the district and haven't had any luck finding anyone available to watch her for an entire day. (I can't blame anyone - it's a long day and a precious weekend day at that.) I do have a certain amount of respite hours available to me each year and please pray that my agency can find a family open and willing to watch her for the day for me.
