"Is there anything for me?"
I'm honestly not sure what she keeps expecting or from her - but it was fun today to say,
"Yes! There is!"
My mom and sisters listened to my plea for some girl toys to fill the house.
(Miss M was here less than an hour when she told me that we were seriously lacking.)
A stuffed box of goodies arrived in the mail today - just two days after it was sent from Michigan.
Our plan had been to go swimming before dinner, but the box of surprises resulted in a change of heart.
As we were going through the goodies she kept saying, "Oh! I hit the jackpot!"

We are so blessed - through prayers, gifts, emails, blog comments, fb comments, and friends and co-workers popping in to check on us both throughout the day.
I'm thankful for my village.
Praise Report:
This evening there were two potential "blow-ups" of behaviors with Miss M that didn't happen. Thankfully she was able to process, rethink, and be redirected.
Prayer Request:
I got a phone call from "Rapid Response" late this afternoon checking up on Miss M and me. I have to call them back tomorrow. Pray I have patience and can speak with love and calmness. I am finding that nothing happens quickly or efficiently in this system and I'm not dealing with that very well. (How is Rapid Response 9 days later?) When I talk with the people who call I find that they usually don't introduce themselves or explain what their role is in the "support" system. The lady I have to call back tomorrow wants to know what questions I have for her for the CFT next week--she's attending by phone. I don't even know who she is or what she's supposed to do or not do for me. There are now at least 3-4 people coming to this meeting that I don't know and I feel like I am walking into this meeting totally blind. I want to help Miss M get all the services and support she needs, but I'm not sure where to even begin.
