Both Beds are Filled!

From now until the girls' mom is granted custody by the courts.
That could be four months, six months, another year.
I don't know
And that's okay.
I'm just glad the girls are together
And I know their mom is, too.

Miss M was higher than a kite.
Silly as all get out.
Hard to balance the excitement
With the need for self-control.
Trying to be consistent
Yet understanding.

Ms. O will call me Maryann.
I am good with that.
In fact,
I am comfortable with that.
Miss M doesn't get the big deal of calling me Mommy
But to Ms. O
Mommy is a sacred name,
To which I can relate.
To which I appreciate.

Miss M loves being the expert at all things

Plans
People
Places
It's kind of funny.
She likes the power of the knowledge.

Ms. O is a first born.
Protection along with the teasing. 
Teasing along with the mothering.
Mothering along with the advice.
Love it.

Praise Reports:  Both beds are filled.  Paperwork is in my purse.  Tomorrow I took the day off to spend it with Ms. O.

Prayer Requests:  Is it wrong to pray for a magic fairy to come and clean the house in the middle of the night? Just kidding.  Please pray for safe, uneventful, boring, typical, content flight from Phoenix to Detroit tomorrow.  We fly out after 6 and arrive in Michigan at 1:30 am.  Fun times.  Pray my sister stays awake on the drive to and from my parents' home.
